As a pet owner, it is all the more devastating to appreciate what is there for the upcoming days. With the COVID-19 (1) virus affecting thousands of people all over the world, it is you who have to be ever careful with your close-knit ones and your pet buddies. Keep An Emergency Supply of Your Pet’s Medicines

During these quarantined days, the last thing you would wish is to run out of your pet's medical prescription. Most pets require daily medication after a certain age. Consult your vet to enquire about your pet's two to three-months supply. Most vets are at ease in giving out a couple of months'’ supply for chronic ailments, especially during these pandemic situations.

Keep ‘Em Healthy

Pamper your pet buddy with healthy food. Being indoors is a good time for treating your four-legged partner with treats to keep them in good physical shape. But be careful not to overindulge them in all these delicacies. Opt for a few apple pieces, orange slices or carrot sticks, and celery leaves. These are not only healthy but suppress their taste buds and stop them from drawing attention and asking for more!

Introduce New ‘Potty Time’ Methods

It is a genuine problem, especially for those pets who usually walk several times a day to relieve themselves. But it is not the same for those living in the country-sides and can make use of their backyards. According to many certified pet trainers, the easiest method of tutoring the pets to relieve them inside the four walls is acting as if you are stepping outside! Strange is not it! But it works. To make it successful, you should prepare yourself, as you do for a walk. Grab their leash, litter bags, and favorite treats, and signal your pet buddy, mentioning it as a daily activity. Do this activity, even if you choose a corner of your house. But remember to get this thing done, when it is your pet's relieving time.' You might have to repeat the entire action a couple of times to make them understand the whole drill. Maintain hygiene by placing pet-pee pads or newspapers, at these designated relieving zones.

Entertain Them Indoors

Are you looking to distract your furry pet, while staying indoors? These stressful situations do have an impact on pets. And sometimes it becomes visible. From their behavior. So, while trapped inside the four walls, try to utilize the time fruitfully, and create moments to reminiscence forever. Interact with your lovable pets by playing indoor games, and engaging them with their favorite toys. Or else, it is an excellent idea of playing peek-a-boo indoors or letting your pet find you or their toys from hidden places. For instance, a puzzle game with boxes is also a grand idea. Place all your stacked-up delivery boxes, and show your pet the same. Hide its treat inside one of the boxes, and shuffle. Let them use their nose and find out the right one. This game acts as a mind-stimulating game for your pet buddy. The whole activity, full of care and comfort, will help in alleviating both of your moods, ease the anxiousness and keep you both focussed.

Prepare For The Unforeseen

Most of us are undergoing a phase, where nobody is allowed to move outdoors and interact socially. And many even are experiencing mental stress and severe depression. With COVID-19 creating unfortunate circumstances globally, the only remedy is to have patience and maintain proper hygiene. And, these all symptoms become evident over our pets' behavior. Most vets have strictly observed them showing these behavioral attributes, like being listless, anxiety disorder, and experiencing sleeplessness. And some turn into being overly-active and destructive in nature. You have to be alert at all times until the critical phase passes out. The five ways discussed above acts as some practical measures for you to take better care of your pet buddies, while under quarantine.  Stay safe and keep everyone around secure, till the good old days are back again with a bang!
